I have many years of experience working with buyers and I will listen to your needs and stay on with you until you reach your goal of finding the right place for you. I understand that having patience is paramount- you need to be comfortable with your decisions- we'll research things and get your questions answered as we go through the buying process. This is true whether it is your first or fifth real estate purchase. It is extremely important to me that you purchase the best place for you, and that you end up happy. Specialization
I specialize in representing my clients in the purchase and sale of property in the greater Northampton area, Hilltowns, and the inspiring, blossoming city of Holyoke (there are many finely detailed, hand-crafted Victorian houses and other high quality investment properties to be found there). I also have a special interest in lake properties. I keep current on all transactions in these areas, and I'm also very knowledgeable about our rich local arts culture, recreational opportunities and environmental splendors. I know how to maximize the excellent quality of life here.
Personal
I grew up in Amherst and appreciate the local area and its offerings. We have the resources of the Five College Community, as well as green hills, rivers and so many talented and inspiring people. I graduated from the University of Massachusetts cum laude with a degree in German. I have lived, studied at the Universitaet Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, worked and traveled abroad. I also studied a post-baccalaureate science curriculum for a year at Bennington College in Vermont. I also took mathematics at the University of Massachusetts in the continuing Education Department (I discovered that I like math and the way it can stretch your imagination). I also learned how to act with focus and remain calm in crisis situations while working as a field Emergency Medical Technician and a 911 call receiver and ambulance fleet dispatcher.
I enjoy working with people from a variety of backgrounds, cultures and modes of thought. Current hobbies of mine include reading and studying (about anything that is currently on my mind), traveling, dancing, side-splitting laughter, good and loud music while driving, roller skating (original Roller-Rink style) and swimming in the local lakes with my husband and children. I am really excited to start 2008! It is going to be a great year. |
